Readathon Hours 1-5

Managed a few hours sleep before the alarm went off.   I left my first book on the bedside table so I'm still enjoying my lie-in.
Opening Meme:
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?  Vancouver, BC
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? One Good Turn by Kate Atkinson3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? The beer after my field hockey game, even though I'll lose a few hours of reading. 4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I love to read, play sports and play the trumpet. 5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I missed a couple of readathons so I'm just looking forward to enjoying some books with a purpose. I'll be less focused on page count this time as I know I won't be able to read more than 12-15 hours.
Hour 2:
I'm definitely #teamCSLewis. About to make my first cup!

Hour 3:
A little over 2/3s through A woman's guide to 50 shades of Canadian men. I hope to finish by the end of the hour.
Weirdest Reading Position. I'm not very inventive in my reading positions these days (lying on the couch, in bed, or walking down the street), but when I was in grade 4 I used to wedge myself onto a shelf in the library of my primary school.
Hour 4:
I've started Telegraph Avenue by Michael Chabon, so my quote for the mini-challenge is from that:
“It was only later, as a voice on the PA was chasing stragglers from the hall and the lights went out over the signing area, that Mr. Nostalgia noticed that Luther Stallings had walked off with his gold pen.”
That was my last book started in a previous readathon, so I'm going early this time in the hopes that I'll be conscious while reading...
